Terms of play.

FomoTag is a free-to-enter, fully autonomous spectator game. Qualified players' avatars play on their own; nobody controls them during a match. Some rounds carry a pre-funded promotional prize. The rules are part of these terms.

Entering never costs anything. There is no entry fee, wager, stake, bet or deposit, and nothing you buy improves your chances. Prizes are funded in advance by the organiser, never from players. Where a round requires a Fomo thesis or a token balance, that is a qualification check only — FomoTag never asks you to buy anything and never takes custody of your funds.

• You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and promotional prizes must be lawful there.
• One person, one Fomo identity. You must be the owner of the Fomo identity you link and of the reward wallet you provide.
• We may refuse or remove entries that break the rules, including duplicate identities, forged proofs and referral farming.

• A prize is shown as FUNDED ✓ only once it is locked in the prize vault. The winner is decided by the match server's signed result.
• Prizes are paid once, to the reward wallet linked to the winning identity. Check your wallet address — on-chain transfers can't be reversed.
• A payout may be held while we review a winner for suspension or abuse. If the winner is ineligible, the prize is not paid to them.
• If a match is void, nobody wins it and the prize is refunded to its funder, as described in the rules.
• You're responsible for any taxes on a prize you receive. Prizes can't be transferred or exchanged.

You link a Fomo identity (and, for prize rounds, a reward wallet). We never ask for your Fomo password, seed phrase, private key or session cookie — if anyone does in FomoTag's name, it isn't us. You can disconnect your identity at any time; past match results stay public because they are part of other players' verifiable results.

• Don't automate entries, forge proofs, replay tickets or interfere with the game server or other players.
• Don't impersonate other people or claim a handle that isn't yours.
• Don't use FomoTag in a way that breaks Fomo's terms or the law.

Match results come from the authoritative game server and are signed and publicly verifiable. Admins can't edit them. If the server fails before a reliable result, the match is void rather than decided by hand.

FomoTag is provided as is. Matches can be delayed, cancelled or voided for the reasons in the rules, and the service can be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the value of any prize you won and were not paid. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continuing to play means you accept the update.
