Only what the game needs.
FomoTag stores very little: your public handle, a reward wallet if you play for prizes, and hashed signals that stop cheating. Here is all of it.

What we never ask for
Your Fomo password, seed phrase, private keys or Fomo session cookie. We don't store passwords at all, and we never hold your keys or funds.
02
What we store
- Your Fomo identity — handle, display handle and avatar link, and a stable id from the way you linked (sign-in or manual link).
- Your reward wallet — a public EVM address, only so a prize can be sent to it.
- Entries & qualification — which rounds you entered and the thesis proof you used: its link, a short text preview when available, and a fingerprint (sha256) of any screenshot. We keep the screenshot's fingerprint and the facts read from it — never the image.
- Hashed abuse signals — a salted, truncated hash of your IP address, a hashed device id and a hashed browser string, plus your country code from our hosting provider. We never store your raw IP. IP alone never blocks anyone.
- Match data — every match's events, placements, stats, replay and clips.
- Referrals — who invited whom, and whether the invite counted.

What is public
FomoTag is a spectator game, so results are public by design: your handle, the rounds you played, your placements and stats, replays, clips, leaderboards and the fairness record of every match (including the entrant order). Your reward wallet appears on-chain when a prize is paid, like any transaction. Hashed abuse signals are never public.
04
Who else sees data
- Our hosting and database providers, to run the service.
- If automatic thesis checking is switched on and you submit a screenshot, it is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to read the post's facts. We keep only those facts and the screenshot's fingerprint.
- Prize payouts go through public blockchains — the transaction and both addresses are public there.
06
Your choices
- Disconnect your Fomo identity at any time; new rounds can't be entered with it until you link again.
- Ask us to delete your account data. Match results you were part of stay, because they are other players' verifiable results — but your handle can be detached from your account.
- Abuse-review records are kept as long as needed to keep rounds fair, then deleted.
